My Story
My work is deeply personal. My youngest son was diagnosed with autism at age two and was nonverbal. From the moment of his diagnosis, my thoughts turned to his future—what independence, purpose, and long-term success might look like, and what it would take to help him get there.
What followed were years of learning, advocating, and walking alongside him through therapies, educational supports, and real-world experiences. I witnessed firsthand how consistent support, high expectations, and evidence-based intervention can transform potential into progress. Today, he lives independently and attends college.
My Experience
That journey, combined with my academic and professional experience, shaped both my perspective and my approach to this work. I hold a B.S. in Sociology from Brigham Young University, a Graduate Certificate in Social-Emotional Learning from Drexel University, and earned my ACRE Employment Services Credential in 2026. I also spent more than a decade learning and applying Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) through the Koegel Autism Center at UC Santa Barbara, implementing evidence-based strategies in both home and community settings.
In addition, I have dedicated more than twenty years to nonprofit leadership, mentorship, and community service. Through leadership and board service in education, faith-based organizations, and community nonprofits, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals and families while fostering growth, confidence, and meaningful life outcomes.
My Mission
As I studied workforce outcomes for autistic adults and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, I saw tremendous potential on both sides. Individuals had valuable strengths and skills to contribute, and employers genuinely wanted to build stronger teams. Too often, however, what was missing was the preparation, practical tools, and workplace alignment needed to create successful, lasting employment relationships.
That realization led me to create Bridge+. We help individuals build the skills, confidence, and self-advocacy needed for meaningful employment while helping employers create environments where talent can be recognized, supported, and retained. When preparation and opportunity come together, potential becomes purpose.

My Story
Growing up with a younger brother on the autism spectrum, I was introduced to the Autism & Special Needs community early. Since he was diagnosed so young, I became hyper aware of others like him. I love spending my time with him and other friends on the spectrum. When I was a little older I became a volunteer in classrooms, tutoring centers, and summer programs for people with special needs. I’ve always been drawn to this community and have life long friends because of it.
My Experience
His journey inspired me to pursue a degree in Special Education, but it was the individuals and families I met along the way who strengthened my commitment to this work. Through classrooms, transition programs, and community experiences, I witnessed the creativity, determination, and unique strengths that exist within the neurodiverse community—and how often those strengths go unrecognized.
As I studied Special Education and worked in transition settings, I saw many young adults eager to work, contribute, and build independent lives, yet lacking access to practical workforce training and meaningful employment opportunities. I also observed how many supports available during the school years diminish after graduation, creating significant barriers to employment and independence.
My Mission
Today, as Director of Curriculum & Workforce Development for Bridge+, I help develop programs that teach practical, real-world employment skills while supporting employers in creating workplaces where neurodiverse talent can succeed. My goal is to help individuals build confidence, develop independence, and find meaningful work aligned with their strengths.
What We Built, Together
As mother and daughter, Ann and Jane share a passion for helping autistic adults build meaningful futures. Combining lived experience, special education, workforce readiness, and evidence-informed practices, they created Bridge+ to prepare both sides of the employment journey.
Together, they developed Emerge+, Align+, and Career+, a practical framework designed to help individuals build workplace readiness while helping employers create environments where talent can thrive. Preparing People. Aligning Workplaces. Building the Right Fit.
